Oh my god, I haven't been on here in so long. I'm more into FaceBook now and have been loaded with oodles of homework. But I got tons of photos to download

While I was gone, I went on a weekend trip to the Olympic Peninsula. It was AMAZING! We're going back again sometime in the witer and summer! That, and Nanaimo, BC
So it was me, my mom, AJ, and Brendan driving up to the peninsula. My dad and Addison came up later. We went by ferry and the wind was freaking crazy. I got lost after I left the bathroom and went on the sundeck. The wind was blowing so hard I almost fell over. After wegot off we stopped at Granny's Cafe to eat. lol My mom had to find the bathroom, and the lady told her itwas outside, so she was looking in all the doors. We didn't realize the bathroom was WAY down this dirt path from the restaurant. It was cool though, with tons of decorations. They had the most amazing garlic parmesan fries and caramel milkshakes. It was Brendan's first time on the peninsula so he was excited by all the sights: Jamestown S'klallam, Sequim, Port Gamble, Port Angeles, you know. When we made it to Forks, the Twilight jokes all started, mainly from Brendan. Apparently, he was Edward's cousin and had to save Bella. There were the creepiest people there like this guy with a bandana around his eyes and anothr guy who mumbled/sang while rocking. We ate at a Steakhouse right outside Forks after touring Forks. Lol, when we went through all the Twilight gift stores I didn't realize I forgot to shut the minivan door with EVERYTHING in it and left it open for a couple hours. Nothing was stolen. It was so cool. Then we finally made it to our cabin. It was small, but really warm and cozy. We had the best view of Second Beach, and we got to drive to the little Trade Store for things we needed.

The next morning AJ and I went out to Second Beach to take some pictures and play on the driftwood. Addison and Brendan came out when they woke up they came out with us and we went right by the water, then ran from the waves. There was SO much foam too, Brendan called it "whale blubber". If you stomped in it, it would just disappear from your feet. The waves were humongous too, like 30 feet tall. It was so dangerous, not even the surfers were out. Our next stop was the Hoh River Rainforest. We went on the Hall of Mosses hike in the pouring rain, which made it even more fun and the moss look even prettier. It was so freezing outside though. I had two jackets on and was still cold. We went back to Forks again and ate out a little diner place. I got the Twilight Punch. lol It was strawberry lemonade with vampire teeth. They had amazing food, but AJ was getting sick of all the malt n vinegar. We had our own Twilight tour to get the highlights. It was alright I guess. The next stop was Ruby Beach for the sunset. It was sooooooooooo pretty, but photographers were everywhere. I felt so lame with my wannabe SLR XD But whatever, I'm cooler. When we got back to the cabin, we played Cranium which was freaking amazing. It was the deluxe version with really hard things like "seventh inning something else". Brendan was hyped up the restof the night and gave a tour of the cabin.

The NEXT morning we wandered around La Push to get a closer look of everything like the beaches and bridges and whatnot. AJ walked out on a stump floating on the Sol Duc River. We freaked out, and he said it wasn't that deep. Then he got a long stick and tried to touch the bottom. He couldn't, so he came back. On our way back home, we wanted to stop by the Sol Duc Springs and Hurricane Ridge but they were closed. oh well, it was all fun.
